James W. “Jim” Jacobs, Jr. is an accomplished healthcare executive with more than 25 years developing and building healthcare software companies. Currently, Jim is the President and CEO of MediQuant LLC, healthcare’s leading provider of active data archiving technology for the enterprise. Since becoming CEO in 2018, Jim has driven strategic initiatives to reorganize the company, re-capitalize with Silversmith Capital Partners, and accelerate MediQuant’s significant growth.

Previous success includes executive roles with Optum, Nuance, QuadraMed and others, where he participated in seven recapitalization processes.

Jim’s background and career is steeped in technology, and includes a variety of roles in sales, marketing, and executive leadership. His MBA was focused on Decision Sciences, a unique blend of business, technology, and AI. Jim is a published author, noted speaker, and has participated in the development of 3 software Patents.

In his spare time, Jim enjoys playing most sports including running, hiking, biking, and golf. Jim gives his time fundraising for cancer research, and volunteering with foster care and organizations serving individuals with special needs.

Mary Pat Fralick is Senior Vice President of Solution Delivery & Operations for MediQuant, LLC. In this role, Mary Pat directs the day-to-day operations of the Solutions Delivery Commercial and Government divisions as well as the development of strategic budget, operations, and talent management plans.

In 1989, at only 27 years old, Mary Pat co-founded her first HIT consulting company, DARCA. As DARCA’s organic growth reached $12m in revenue, Mary Pat helped orchestrate its recapitalization in 1997 and spearheaded the eventual acquisition of Exemplar Systems to form Elumen Solutions. Elumen Solutions was acquired in 1999 by CTG and is now CTG Healthcare Solutions.

By 2002, Mary Pat co-founded Vitalize Consulting Solutions, Inc (VCS) which offered clinical, business, and information technology professional services for healthcare enterprises. Serving the as Principal/Executive Vice President, she was instrumental in the development and cultivation of all aspects of VCS. In her time with VCS, Mary Pat directed a private equity recapitalization, led the integration of two acquisitions, and managed the operations of a combined $150m revenue company. VCS was acquired by SAIC in 2011 and is now part of Leidos Healthcare.

Mary Pat earned an undergraduate degree in Economics from Rutgers University and was a two-year captain of the women’s basketball team. She also holds and an MBA from St. Joseph’s University in Pennsylvania.

He counsels clients on all aspects of data archiving to help them meet immediate and likely needs in an era of perpetual healthcare M&A.

Shawn is a dedicated and innovative technology leader with more than 15 years of experience managing enterprise applications, software development, infrastructure and operations units in diverse environments and with a successful delivery record. He is skilled in IT architecture, service management, and communications, having worked many years with executives to deliver business value through well-conceived IT strategies and investments.

Prior to joining MediQuant, Shawn spent 11 years in various roles at Life Line Screening. Most recently, he was Director of Technology, where he provided leadership, strategic direction, and roadmaps for the IT department to meet current demands and expedite the delivery of high impact products and services.
