Our hearts go out to the individuals, businesses and communities that have been affected by COVID-19. In response to the increasing number of cases and uncertainty domestically and around the world, I want to make you aware of the precautions MediQuant is taking to protect the health and safety of our customers, employees, their families and our communities while maintaining a consistent level of customer service.
Customer Service and Remote Work
MediQuant is making every effort to ensure this situation does not affect the timeliness or quality of the work we are doing for you.
We are proud to have robust technology and processes in place that enable our employees to efficiently and effectively provide customer service remotely. We have also established remote working guidelines for each of our lines of business to help ensure we meet deadlines.
If you are expecting the arrival of a member or members of a MediQuant team and there is a reason why they should not come to your site, please notify your project manager. MediQuant teams who are working at customer locations have been advised to consult with their onsite project manager to learn of any special guidelines they need to follow, or if the project needs to shift to remote work.
We will tailor our approach to meet the specific needs of our individual customers, and we will adjust and communicate with you as circumstances change. If you have any questions or concerns about your engagement with us, please reach out to your project manager.
Health and Safety
The health and safety of our employees, their families, our clients and our communities are of critical importance to MediQuant.
We have advised all employees to work remotely. Specifically, any employees who are ill or who have family in their homes exhibiting any symptoms of respiratory illness have been directed not to report to any of our offices nor to any client site. We recognize that if employees are not well, they may also need to take time off to manage their health needs.
We are following strict quarantine rules in alignment with the most up-to-date CDC guidance for employees who have been (or who cohabitate with anyone who has been) in contact with someone who has been exposed to or diagnosed with COVID-19 or have traveled to China, Italy, Iran, Japan or South Korea.
Flexibility and remote work options are available for employees, including those who are at a higher risk of contracting or suffering complications from COVID-19 and affected by school and childcare center closures.
Finally, we have instituted additional cleaning protocols at all of our office locations.
Travel and Meetings
MediQuant has suspended all unnecessary employee travel. Travel to customer locations is being considered on a case-by-case basis.
We have asked our leaders to evaluate all events and meetings scheduled through April 30. Additional guidance for travel and meetings will be determined and provided as events warrant.
MediQuant values our customers and the relationships we’ve developed over the years. We’re committed to staying connected with you and helping you through this unprecedented situation.
We expect this situation will continue to evolve. We will defer to the World Health Organization, CDC as well as state and local health authorities for their guidance regarding travel, quarantine, meetings and events and adjust our policies accordingly.
