MediQuant’s Columbus, Ohio, office specializes in data extraction – a challenging and fundamental part of any successful data migration. The Columbus-based company employs data extractors and data migration specialists to extract legacy clinical and financial information from any source system, and place it into SQL databases, reconciling the balances and records to assure complete and accurate data capture.
Each year, MediQuant offers paid internship opportunities to current college students in the Greater Columbus area, both in conjunction with and independent of the Ohio Development Services Agency’s Third Frontier Diversity & Inclusion Technology internship program.
Gain Real-World, Hands-On Technology Experience
“I really appreciate the ability to work independently. They’ve allowed me to really make a contribution that they’ll use going forward,” said current Third Frontier internship participant, Nathan Molby, a first-year college student at Capital University.
Fellow MediQuant intern, Meghan Walther, agreed. The Ohio State University sophomore worked on a new project management tool for MediQuant, adding that the company’s small size really allows interns to collaborate with staff on a variety of projects. “Every programmer will tell you they’ve learned more from their real-world experience than from class.”
College students interested in gaining hands-on technology experience at MediQuant through the Third Frontier program must apply through their on-campus career centres.
General internship inquiries may be sent to Cliff Skinner.
