Kel Pults joined MediQuant in 2014, where she has been involved in virtually every facet of the operation, including partnering with developers of the flagship product DataArk® to enhance current and create new clinical modules to meet evolving client needs. She was named Chief Clinical Officer in 2018 as part of the company’s commitment to building its support for clinical data management services.
Pults began her healthcare IT journey at Platte Valley Medical Center in 2002, when she led the transition from Siemens MedSeries 4 green screen technology to a graphical user interface (GUI) environment. This experience led to a four-year tenure with Siemens Medical (now Cerner Healthcare) as a senior clinical consultant. She left Siemens to start her own consulting company, KBP Healthcare Consulting, LLC, and was then recruited to join and become Director of Practice Services at Anthelio Healthcare Solutions. At Anthelio from 2010 through 2012, Pults’ work encompassed strategic planning for facilities surrounding electronic medical record (EMR) deployment, among other areas. Then as Director of Consulting and Clinical Informatics at RGP Healthcare, she provided consulting, clinical content, and marketing for end-to-end incident management solutions. Pults earned her Doctor of Health Administration and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Nursing from the University of Phoenix.
