MediQuant Vice President of Product Development & Client Services Christine Foley will present “Application Retirement Planning: Compliance, Cost and Access” with Baylor, Scott & White Vice President Martin Prince at the 2015 HIMSS Conference & Exhibition in Chicago.
More than 38,000 healthcare industry professionals are expected at the annual conference, where they will learn about health IT issues and industry solutions.
As a HIMSS15 presenter, Foley will discuss best practices and lessons she has learned from creating and implementing comprehensive legacy system retirement plans. She also plans to illustrate how adopting a data retention roadmap accelerates savings, as well as how consolidating legacy data from disparate, retired systems yields additional cost savings and efficiencies for healthcare systems.
Speaker sessions have gone through a peer-review selection process for enhanced efficiency and quality in organizing the educational offerings at the conference. The HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition ranks as one of the largest health IT gatherings in the world, with more than 300 peer-reviewed education sessions, a 467,000 square-foot exhibit floor and numerous networking events.
“HIMSS is recognized for its quality and relevant programming,” said JoAnn W. Klinedinst, CPHIMS, PMP, FHIMSS, vice president, professional development, HIMSS. “Speakers come to share their expertise during our pre-conference and conference educational sessions. I congratulate our HIMSS15 Annual Conference Education Committee that selected our final speakers, as well as all presenters who will be part of our extensive and diverse programming schedule.”
Foley’s presentation will take place in room N427. Don’t forget to visit MediQuant at HIMSS booth #7823 to discuss your legacy data roadmap and receive a DataArk® demonstration.
